    PCI first formed in August 2006. Original members Connor, Bibbity, and Dan started jamming out and liking it alot, eventually deciding to get more serious with their music and form a band. "Port City Improv" was a rock/metal/improv project that never played the same song the same way twice. Their creativity and unique heavy sound made PCI an instant favorite... supported by Wilmington locals, Bibbity, Connor, and Dan became more well known for their crazy lyrics, pounding drums, and wailing guitar. During band camp they made their first major hit - "Don't Scratch" - based on experiences there. The Band Camp project defined the future sound of PCI by adding Bibbity's funny lyrics... Eventually PCI's popularity allowed them to play the year's main gig at homecoming; an experience neither the band members or the audience will likely forget.
